There is no school at Flood Broom today, Thursday, April 4 due to the winter storm


Due to the incoming weather, we will be dismissing at noon today, Wednesday, April 3. Lunches will be served and buses will run. Expect buses to arrive at their stops 2 hours and 50 minutes earlier than usual.

Rocking our socks for World Down Syndrome Day!






One of our 8th graders was one of three 8th graders who successfully decoded the Zimmerman telegram while studying the United States' entry into World War I. The three students were entered into a drawing for different prizes and he walked away with a $25 gift card to Northshire Book Store!
Thanks to our generous anonymous community donor for providing the "grand prize!"

7th and 8th grade's outdoor learning today features the team building game "human claw machine," blindfolded class mates need to acquire objects while their partners use nonverbal communication to help them achieve the group's goal.
The class reviewed the communication challenges of trench warfare in world war I as they identified the need for groups to be on the same page to accomplish a shared goal.
