The Taconic and Green Regional School District has a vacancy on the school board. The board will need to appoint a temporary member from the town of Mt. Tabor until the next election in March 2026. The appointment will be made at the June 3, 2025 meeting held at the Flood Brook School. If you are interested in filling this vacancy, please email a letter of interest to info@brsu.org by Monday, May 19, 2025.

This process give families the opportunity to select the school that best fits their child's needs within our district. This initiative aims to provide greater flexibility and options for our students, ensuring that every child receives the education that suits them best.

We had a magical night last Thursday when Kindergarten through 5th graders put on a winter concert in conjunction with a lantern festival. Join us this Thursday when the middle school does the same!

These second graders looked at pictures of buildings designed by Paul R. Williams, a pioneering architect in the 20th century, then used Lego shapes and printing ink to design their own in art class.
